Serving the Thai-Canadian Community Since 2002

The Thai Society of Ontario has been a beacon for the Thai-Canadian community for over two decades, fostering cultural preservation, community support, and meaningful connections across Ontario.

Our Purpose

Mission & Vision

The Thai Society of Ontario exists to preserve and promote Thai culture while supporting the integration and success of Thai immigrants in Ontario. We serve as a bridge between Thai heritage and Canadian life.

Our vision is a thriving Thai-Canadian community where cultural identity is celebrated, newcomers are supported, and generations connect through shared values and traditions.

Our Journey

20+ Years of Community Service

From humble beginnings to a thriving community organization, TSO has evolved while staying true to our core mission of serving Thai-Canadians across Ontario.

2002
Founded

TSO Established

Founded by a small group of Thai-Canadian community leaders to support newcomers and preserve Thai culture in Ontario.

2005
Growth

First Songkran Celebration

Launched our annual Thai New Year celebration, bringing together hundreds of community members.

2010
HPC

HPC Committee Formation

Partnership with CAMH established the Health Promotion Committee to support community wellness.

2015
Expansion

Tax Clinic Initiative

Launched free tax preparation services for community members, helping hundreds navigate Canadian tax system.

2020
Digital

Virtual Community Support

Pivoted to online services during pandemic, maintaining community connections and support services.

2026
Legacy

Continuing the Mission

Serving over 4,000 members and continuing to adapt to meet the evolving needs of the Thai-Canadian community.
